I have a question about how to calculate edibles dosages. I like to make cannabis cookies and I like to make my infused cannabutter using 2 or 3 different strains of cannabis. The percentages of THC in them will vary from about 17% THC to about 23%. I have your dosage calculators (see below) but am confused on how to use them when using cannabis with different percentages of THC. Can you help?

Yes I can help. The scenario is not as tricky as it sounds.
You said you have my dosage calculators and that’s great (for those that don’t, click the link above, or you can alternately take my free dosing class that will teach you how to calculate edibles dosages with an ordinary calculator).
The first step in calculating edibles dosages is knowing the THC (or CBD percentage). If you are using lab tested cannabis this is easy, it’s written on the label. If you are NOT using lab tested cannabis, the free dosing class and the classes that come with my dosage calculators teach you how to estimate it.
When you are cooking with multiple strains of cannabis that have different THC percentages you can calculate edibles dosages in one of two ways:
- If you are using equal amounts of each strain, take an average of their percentages and use that to start your edibles dosage calculation.
- If you are NOT using the same amount of each strain, make separate calculations for each strain you are using and the amount you used. Then add the per serving dosage of each of those caluculations together to get the total per serving dosage of the edubles made using multiple strains.
It sounds more confusing than it is, but when you use the dosage calculators, I promise it will be easy!
